Moved In

Okay, I've moved in, I haven't unpacked. I promise two big posts coming up. One will be everything I love about the house. One will be everything I hate.

Love= the banisters

Hate= the bathroom

Meanwhile, you can click here for pics.

Whew.

All the financial stuff for the house got finished up today. We close Monday. I'm going to Home Depot to pull some paint samples.

We have our final walk through Sunday morning. Sometime between now and Monday morning I need to be all packed up and ready to go.

It is all very exciting.

Let the games begin.

Monday we take possession of the house. I'll be moving in immediately, whereas CJ will have until the end of July to move in.

Soon It Will Be Ours

We are buying this house:

It is a two story townhome built in 1900 (possibly earlier, we are going to do some research when we have time.) Upstairs there are four bedrooms and a bathroom. The two front bedrooms have skyline views of the city.

The main floor is the foyer, living room, dining room, and kitchen. There is a basement too.

As of now, we already have shelled out $1000 as a down payment to update the electric. Another grand will be needed once it is finished. That's not the only work that needs to be done though.

We've gotten ourselves into the greatest house ever, but it is a real fixer upper. I'm ready for the challenge. I hope my fiance is also.

We close July 10th. That's when the fun starts.
