We Did Something

Ta-da!
We started to trim in the living room. We didn't finish, but it was a start.

We saw, what I'm afraid is, our annual mouse. Well, we saw two, so it may be an infestation. Neither of us has seen any since, but we cleaned the hell out of the house. Well, the kitchen and TV room. The places with the food.

CJ also installed some shelves in the basement. We were able to move a ton of stuff from the kitchen to the basement, making room to actually store things. Unfortunately, the good dishes are still on top of the fridge. We really need to do something about that...

Anonymous- Wait, that's not impressive? How much crack did you sell or how much dick did you suck for crack? It'd better be a big number, or you've got no right to be sassy.

Anonymous- when people have jobs and are normal members of society, they have much less time to do things than the people who totally kick it on welfare at "they momma's" house.

You know, John, I wasn't there to see for myself, but it doesn't seem like it was too difficult to write a relatively civil comment on this blog.

In that comment, you presented yourself as a decent person, which is why we are rather mystified by the hostility.

Maybe it's because we're "whitey" (wasichus, eh?). Do you think we'd move into this neighborhood if we had a problem with people of color? In fact, we looked for, and welcome, the diversity.

What we don't welcome is antisocial behavior that makes the neighborhood a less pleasant and more dangerous place to live. And guess what? I can see at least six other houses from our house where people live who think like we do. They're sick of the BS and they're not putting up with it either.

I understand you took issue with a couple pictures that got posted on here. So Kassie thought some fellas were selling drugs. If they weren't, well, she made a mistake. But given the amount of drug activity that goes on out in the street, are you really all that shocked that she would think anything else was going on?

So honestly, John, I don't care if you don't like us. We prefer to get along with our neighbors, and it seems that we do a good job of getting along pretty well with the vast majority of them. I'm not sure why it has to be any different with you.

CJ
